GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION 

At OSI we are continuously growing! Along with one of our clients!  

We are in search of an awesome Billing agent who can help our client’s business. This is a shutter solutions company that is on a mission to provide a group transportation experience that's transparent, safe, and good for the planet. 

As a Billing Agent, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls and inquiries related to financial matters. Your primary focus will be to assist customers or clients with billing-related concerns, balance inquiries, transaction discrepancies, and account reconciliations (among others). 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Receive incoming calls from customers or clients and provide exceptional service in a professional and courteous manner. 

  • Listen attentively to customer inquiries and concerns related to billing, account balances, transactions, and reconciliations. 

  • Respond to customer queries promptly, accurately, and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues to the best of your ability. 

  • Reconciling invoices with balance sheet reports and resolving any discrepancies. 

  • Communicating with clients and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications 

  • Assist customers in understanding their transactions, including payments, charges, and adjustments, to ensure transparency and clarity. 

  • Validate the accuracy of transactional data and rectify any errors or discrepancies as necessary. 

  • Conduct account reconciliations to ensure that financial records are accurate and up to date. 

  • Accurately preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records. 

  • Creation of project deposit invoices and being present in Weekly Billing meetings  

  • Preparing, issuing, and sending invoices. 

  • Verifying with other departments that orders have been fulfilled.  

  • Reviewing sales sheets to ensure the billing of all sales. 

 

REQUIREMENTS  

  • Studies related to accounting, finance, or another similar field.  

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Customer Service agent, Billing agent, Collections agent, or similar. 

  • Proficient advanced English, spoken and written (85-95%) 

  • Competency in MS Office, especially Excel.  

  • Academic experience with spreadsheets and financial reports. 

  • Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks. 

  • Understanding of payments, accounting, and budgeting (Ideal)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Good organizational and time management skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and in a team. 

  • Strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to prioritize.
