Accounts Payable Analyst

Please note: this is an on-site position based in Antiguo Cuscatlan, La Libertad, El Salvador. Only Salvadoran applicants will be accepted.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION 
One of our clients is seeking a fast-learning and highly motivated individual that can join our accounts payable team. The ideal candidate must be able to perform tasks quickly and accurately, have excellent attention to detail skills, and be able to handle a high volume of transactions. This candidate will report directly to the Accounting Manager. 
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Performing day-to-day financial transactions which includes verifying, classifying, computing, and posting accounts payable data  
• Sets up new vendor accounts and maintains the filing system for vendor statements and other important documents 
• Reviewing vendor statements for accuracy and investigating/reporting any discrepancies   
• Correspond with vendors  
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments have been posted and accounted for  
• Work on special projects as needed 

REQUIREMENTS  

• Bachelor’s in accounting or Finance is preferred but not required  
• Experience in QuickBooks (Desirable) 
• Prior experience in high volume work environment (AP, AR, Billing, etc.)  
• General Math Skills, Financial Software, Analyzing Information, Thoroughness, Reporting Research Results. 
• Microsoft Excel skills
